How to Work in Dubai After Graduation ?

With all the companies there, and their decision on diversification of their economy in recent years, there are lot of openings and requirements for skilled professionals in multiple fields. The highest demand is for professionals in the fields of IT, Medical, Renewable Energy, and Logistics. The lifestyle the modern generation expectations of vibrant, dynamic, and progressive environment, all on offer in Dubai, while also being among the safest cities in the world.

One more very solid reason to work in Dubai after graduation is, it pays really well for undergraduates as compared to other countries. The average salary for undergraduates ranges from US$ 2000 to US$ 4000. Not only that, but people also coming from outside Dubai, who are not citizens, do not have to pay income tax, resulting in a good package and surplus savings. Living in Dubai is also easier than in other countries, as all beliefs and religions are respected equally. Getting the right work profile is the first step towards being able to work as a non-citizen in Dubai or anywhere else in the UAE. Finding a job that aligns with students’ career aspirations is the first step towards acquiring a visa for Dubai. An employer will sponsor an international candidate and apply for a work permit once the candidate has received an offer from their preferred employer. The company will initiate the visa process as soon as they receive signed contract.

Potential foreign workers must still provide number of documents in order to have their application for a work visa granted, even though their company will file for their work permit. These documents include:

· A photo set on a white backdrop

· A passport copy that is valid for at least six months

· Official employment offer document from the ministry, signed by the employee and the employer

· A copy of the candidate's legitimate national identification card from their home country (if applicable)

Employees who are granted a work permit will have 60 days from the date of entry to finish the required medical examination and other paperwork to obtain a work visa, which is subsequently good for two years. The employer will have to finish any last-minute paperwork, such as security checks, within this time.
